Butterfly Gaura, Bee Blossom

Tall, swaying sprays bear starry white flowers tinged with pale pink resembling little butterflies. Long flowering from early summer until mid-fall. Does not need staking but will always be moving, bending, swaying. Excellent cut flower. Loved by butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers average to moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Good drainage is essential to overwinter successfully. Tolerates heat, humidity and some drought. Prune hard in late spring to encourage a bushy, compact growth. Remove spent flowers to improve overall appearance but not neccessary for extending bloomtime. HEIGHT: 50-60 cm SPREAD: 30-40 cm
