This native plant is great for naturalizing or using as a unique groundcover. It can also make a fine addition to the border without becoming a pesky weed. It forms a low mound of deeply-cut, fern-like foliage and bears small reddish-purple blooms on tall stalks early in the summer followed by highly oranmental feathery seedheads. In a mass planting it just looks spectacular. This very hardy plant prefers a sunny, well-drained location. HEIGHT: 30-45 cm SPREAD: 30-35 cm
