Low growing native plant with leathery, lobed foliage set with pink, white or blue delicate, cup-shaped flowers held on wiry stalks. Blooms in early spring once the frost is out of the ground -- usually in April. This is a woodland plant happiest in part to full shade in humusy, well-drained soil. Keep it out of the hot afternoon sun. Clump-forming and slow to spread. HEIGHT: 7-10 cm SPREAD: 25-30 cm
