Big Leaf Hydrangea

Compact, rounded shrub with glossy dark green foliage and masses of gorgeous, mophead blooms all summer. Blooms will be bright pink in neutral soil and mauve to blue in acidic soil. Deadhead to encourage continuous and more blooms. Green foliage will turn an attractive burgundy-bronze colour in the fall. Can be grown in sun or part-shade. Do not prune. Blooms on old wood. Remove dead or damaged wood in the spring. HEIGHT: 60-80 cm SPREAD: 60-80 cm
All hydrangea flowers do undergo some colour changes as they age. Also soil pH can change the flower colour of some cultivars.
