This extremely profuse bloomer produces masses of cone-shaped, creamy-coloured flowers in early summer which then age to pink and red in late summer and fall. Long flowering from early summer to fall. This compact, shrub will be completely covered by flowers. Excellent strong sturdy stalks support these big flowers without flopping. Flowers all summer on new wood. Prune in late winter or early spring. Easily grown in sun to part shade in moist to average, well-drained soil. Exceptionally hardy. A butterfly favourite. All hydrangea flowers do undergo some colour changes as they age. Also soil pH can change the flower colour of some cultivars.
