Strawberry Sundae Hydrangea

An outstanding selection from the French breeder Jean Renault. Upright, compact shrub with enormous, conical flowerheads that emerge creamy, vanilla-white changing to pink and then finally becoming deep strawberry red. Gorgeous changing colour display all summer. Great upright, vase-like shape. Best grown in full sun to part shade in average to moist, well-drained soil. Very hardy. This is a smaller version of Vanilla Strawberry. HEIGHT: 125-150 cm SPREAD: 100-125 cm
All hydrangea flowers do undergo some colour changes as they age. Also soil pH can change the flower colour of some cultivars.
