Open star-shaped, powder blue flowers with a yellow and white beard in April to May. Flowers are held on short stalks slightly above foliage. Short, bright green, sword-like foliage. Iris cristata perfers rich moist to average, well-drained soil in part shade. Full shade and sun conditions can be tolerated but dislikes extended periods of excessive drought or wetness. Can be used for naturalizing. HEIGHT: 10-15 cm SPREAD: 25-30 cm
