The Jostaberry is a cross between gooseberry and black currant. Fruit resembling a gooseberry is initially green then ripens to deep purple. It has a unique, sweet, tangy flavour and is very high in Vitamin C. Jostaberries are great eaten fresh, preserved or in pies. Fruit ripens in late July. Can be grown in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. HEIGHT: 100-125 cm SPREAD: 100-125 cm
