Very long flowering perennial, covered with small, pincushion blooms in a very rich shade of deep crimson-maroon red. Will bloom all summer long right up to hard frost if deadheaded once in a while. Very effective in a group planting. Easy to grow in a sunny location with average, well-drained soil. Great cut flower. Visited by hummingbirds and butterlies. 'Mars Midget' is a more dwarf form. HEIGHT: 30-45 cm SPREAD: 30-45 cm
