This is a vigorous, fast-spreading groundcover with highly ornamental foliage. It has scalloped, mid-green, heart-shaped foliage beautifully marbled with silver. In the spring it has bright yellow, sweet-pea-like flowers. A valuable plant for difficult sites. This groundcover spreads via long trailing stems which root when they come in contact with the soil. It also has spreading underground roots. It is very tolerant of a wide variety of conditions -- sun or shade, wet soils or dry. It may very well be the best groundcover for dry shade. I grow it under my mature spruce trees where the soil is very dry and lean. It thrives here. It also looks great in containers and hanging baskets. HEIGHT: 25-30 cm SPREAD: 60-90 cm
