Gorgeous little alpine introduced by Jelitto Seeds. Forms a leathery rosette of leaves set with dazzling colours -- yellow-orange, red-purple and pink-white. A profuse spring bloomer and again in September. This is a seed grown strain -- flower colour variations can be expected. Lewisia are quite hardy however they must have excellent drainage to overwinter. Plant in a very well drained location. A gravel mulch around the crown is helpful. Winter wet is deadly. Can be grown in sun to part shade. HEIGHT: 10-15 cm SPREAD: 10-15 cm
