With all the new plants coming out over the years this tried and true perennial is sometimes overlooked. After all these decades it is still an excellent garden subject. One of the few perennials that produces true blue flowers -- not lavender, mauve or purple. Single, sky-blue flowers are carried at the tip of delicate, slender, swaying stalks. Flowers open in the morning when it is sunny and close under clouds. Delicate, feathery foliage. Very charming. Easy to grow in a sunny, well-drained location. HEIGHT: 25-30 cm SPREAD: 25-45 cm
