Gorgeous, stately tree native to Ontario and parts of North America. Considered a Carolinian tree. Four-lobed, bright green leaves turn golden-yellow in the tree. Produces large, yellow to lime-yellow, tulip-shaped flowers accented with an orange band, blooming in May to June. Mature tree can sport hundreds of blooms. General shape is pyramidal. Best ground in full sun and average to moist well-drained soil. HEIGHT: 20-25 m SPREAD: 10-15 m
