Exceptionally hardy perennial with rich, bronzy-purple, lance-shaped leaves which will gradually mature to bronzy-green in the summer. Produces single or paired, yellow flowers held slightly above the foliage in July and August. Prefers sun to part shade and moist (even wet) soils. Will tolerate drier soils. Vigorous and will form a large clump or colony over time. Please note: Not related to Purple Loosestrife which is Lythrum salicaria. HEIGHT: 80-90 cm SPREAD: 75-90 cm
