Excellent compact form ideal for a smaller garden or container. Gracefully arching, variegated leaves with green and white vertical stripes. Foliage turns tan in the fall. Pinkish blooms that age and transform into white plumes. HEIGHT: 100-150 cm SPREAD: 75-90 cm
General Information Miscanthus
A wonderful group of grasses. Tall, bold and imposing. Will produce a showy fountain of grassy foliage set with tall, highly ornamental flower plumes later in the season. Provides outstanding architecture and colour from late summer, right through the winter. One of the best winter-interest perennials. Easily grown in sun to part shade, in moist, well drained soil. Once established quite drought tolerant. Makes a great impact as an accent specimen or in a group.
