One of the smallest forms of Maiden Grass. Thin, silver-green, wiry leaves with an upright, arching habit. Silver seedheads flushed with pink held above the foliage. Great container subject. It's small size makes it very versatile. HEIGHT: 60-100 cm SPREAD: 30-60 cm
General Information Miscanthus
A wonderful group of grasses. Tall, bold and imposing. Will produce a showy fountain of grassy foliage set with tall, highly ornamental flower plumes later in the season. Provides outstanding architecture and colour from late summer, right through the winter. One of the best winter-interest perennials. Easily grown in sun to part shade, in moist, well drained soil. Once established quite drought tolerant. Makes a great impact as an accent specimen or in a group.
