A woodland classic. Native to Ontario. A beautiful, big fern deserving of its name -- Royal Fern. New fronds are flushed with red in the spring then turn green as they mature. Fall colour is golden. Lots of garden colour from a very tough plant that actually looks quite delicate and airy. Prefers a shady location but will tolerate some sun if the soil is moist. HEIGHT: 90-150 cm SPREAD: 60-90 cm
