Gorgeous new introduction. Forms a tight, vase-shaped clump of blue-green foliage that begins turning wine-red in early summer. By late summer nearly the entire plant is drenched in red and is topped by matching wine-red flower panicles held just above the foliage. Outstanding! Sturdy and attractive all winter. This is a smaller switch grass that will hold its form very well. Best grown in full sun. Tolerant of most soil conditions. Drought tolerant once established. HEIGHT: 60-100 cm SPREAD: 50-70 cm
