Dwarf compact habit with cascading green foliage which will develop red trips in cooler weather. Produces red-wine flowers held on slender stalks above the foliage. Will develop thick grey-red plumes in late summer. Blooms best in a sunny location. Excellent ornamental for the fall and winter garden. Use it as an accent in the border or mass planted.
