This Ontario Native can be found in open fields and dry woodlands. It is a compact, clump forming perennial producing clusters of tubular lavender flowers with a white throat held on upright, hairy, green stems. Blooms from May into June. Easily grown in sun to part-shade in well-drained, average to dry soil. Drought tolerant once established. Very hardy. An excellent plant for the border or the cottage. Attractive to hummingbirds. HEIGHT: 50-60 cm SPREAD: 40-50 cm
