Compact newer introduction. Pure white flowers. Easy, very hardy perennial for the mid-to-late summer garden. As the flower develops it seems to inflate into a small balloon, then bursts into a single, star-shaped flower. Wonderful in a group. For sun to partial shade in ordinary garden soil. Even does well in our shade garden. Slow to emerge in spring so mark the spot well. HEIGHT: 20-25 cm SPREAD: 35-40 cm
