White Cinquefoil
Zone 2
Potentilla is frequently overlooked by the home gardener, however it has many outstanding attributes. It is a dwarf, mounding shrub with fine, mid-green foliage and is covered with a profusion of medium-sized, pure white flowers from late spring until the fall. It is easily grown in full sun and very tolerant of a wide range of soil types and conditions and will be drought tolerant once established. This low maintenance shrub is deer and rabbit resistant, salt tolerant and also attracts butterflies and a variety of pollinators. It is also exceptionally hardy. These attributes make Potentilla an outstanding choice for the border, foundation or mass planted. HEIGHT: 50-60 SPREAD: 50-60
