Purple Leaf Sand Cherry

This is a very hardy shrub or small tree with gorgeous dark, intensely reddish-purple foliage which maintains its colour throughout the summer. Leaves may turn pink in the fall. In the spring emerging with foliage are masses of soft pink, fragrant blooms. The Sand Cherry provides great colour contrast in the large perennial border or as a solitary garden accent. Easily grown in full sun to light shade and is tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions. Lovely vase-shape. Height: 2 m Spread: 1.5 m
