Wonderful architectural plant. Highly ornamental, finely cut, purple-black foliage which becomes darker as the season progresses. Large, soft pink, flower clusters in June are lemon-scented. Beautiful contrasting colours. Blooms are followed by purple-black berries in July which are loved by birds. Best grown in sun to partial shade in moist well drained soil. Plant will become more drought tolerant as it ages. Prune hard in the early years to promote strong, bushy growth. HEIGHT: 150-200 cm SPREAD: 150-200 cm
