A Proven Winners Colorchoice plant. Gorgeous ornamental with shaggy, golden, thread-like foliage often flushed with red. This mutiple award winning shrub has an excellent compact, bushy form. Produces large, fragrant, white, flat, lace-cap flower clusters in June. Beautiful contrasting colours. Blooms are followed by purple-black berries in July which are loved by birds. Best grown in sun to partial shade in moist well drained soil. Plant will become more drought tolerant as it ages. Prune hard in the early years to promote strong, bushy growth.
