Forms a rounded mound of very attractive toothed and crinkled foliage which is set with masses of dense, deep, maroon red cones throughout the entire summer on swaying. upright stalks. Ornamental interest over a long period of time throughout the summer. Buds, blooms and seed heads are all ornamental. Finches love the seeds.
