This amazing plant has become one of our most popular perennials. Some call it the firecracker plant. The blooms are astounding. Brilliant red, slender trumpet-shaped with a vivid yellow, star-shaped top and throat. Compact plant with dark green foliage. Blooms almost all summer beginning towards the end of June. Loved by hummingbirds. Best grown in part to full shade, in well-drained soil. This plant is slow to emerge in the spring. Please order early as this perennial always sells out.
