Dwarf Japanese Yew

Slow growing dwarf with a compact, spreading form. Will grow into a dense, rounded mound with dark green needles on short, narrow stalks. Produces small, red, ornamental berries. Tolerates heavy pruning or leave it unpruned to take on its own beautiful shape. Great ornamental shrub for the rock garden, front of the border or smaller foundation planting. Can also be pruned into a topiary or low growing hedge. Can be grown in sun or shade in dry to average well-drained soil. Low maintenance. Drought tolerant once established. Note: Hates wet, poorly drained conditions. Protect from drying winter winds. HEIGHT: 100-125 cm SPREAD: 125-175 cm
