Compact, clump-forming,habit (non-trailing form) with deeply cut green foliage with black along the mid-rib. Produces a profusion of spiked pink buds open to tiny star-shaped, pale-pink flowers. Bronze-red tinted foliage develops during the cooler fall weather. An excellent ornamental for a shady site. Can also be used as a groundcover. Prefers average to consistently moist, well-drained soils in full shade to part shade. However is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions. It is important to protect it from excessive winter wet. Trim flowers back when finished to maintain compact habit. HEIGHT: 15-25 cm SPREAD: 25-30 cm
