This vigorous plant makes an excellent groundcover for shady, wooded sites. Attractive heart-shaped leaves with reddish variegation along the veins and will be flushed with bronze-red in the spring and fall. Covered with masses of short white flower spikes in early-to-mid spring. Spreading via trailing stolons. Can also be useful in container gardens. Prefers average to consistently moist, well-drained soils in full shade to part shade. Will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions but protect from excessive winter moisture. Trim flowers back when finished to maintain compact habit. Deer and rabbit resistant. Low maintenance. HEIGHT: 15-30cm SPREAD: 40-50 cm
