Gorgeous Japanese selection. Upright plant with highly ornamental dark green leaves which have a wide, yellow margin. Produces masses of orchid-like, reddish-purple to blue-violet speckled, waxy blooms from July to September. Grow in partial to full shade in average, well drained soil. Tolerant of drier soil conditons. For best foliage colour does need a few hours of good sunlight. Easy to grow and long-lived. Disease and pest free. Will produce a large clump over time but not at all invasive. HEIGHT: 60-80 cm SPREAD: 60-80 cm
