Ontario Native. Tall, robust perennial with stiff stems and pointed, lance-shaped foliage. Produces masses of shaggy, vivid violet flowers in August and September. Best grown in full sun in moist or even wet soil. Loved by butterflies. A great companion for all ornamental grasses. HEIGHT: 125-150 cm SPREAD: 100-125 cm
