Tall, upright, clumping habit. New flower buds are deep-pink to red opening to lilac flowerspikes. Blooms from midsummer to early autumn. Attractive lance-shaped dark green leaves with a reddish tinge. Prefers fertile, moist soils in full sun to partial shade. Prune veronicastrum back in early summer to increase branching and bloom count. This will also help to prevent late season flopping. HEIGHT: 110-130 cm SPREAD: 50-60 cm
