This dwarf, clump-forming perennial produces masses of solid black flowers with tiny bright yellow eyes. May well be one of the darkest flowers in existence.. . . but do check-out 'Blackout'. Blooms most profusely in the spring but will rebloom if deadheaded. Easily grown in part shade and well-drained soil. Use in containers, as edging or in rock gardens.
